Re: Peavey ipr 3000 amps
Not sure what you mean by "link together". You would not want to link the two power amps to each other, so I assume you mean you want to connect the amps to the outputs of the mixer. Depending on what setup you want, there are several options open to you. You could connect one amp to your mixer's "M...

Re: ProComm 2.4GHz Wireless--Lavalier
I'm pretty sure the Peavey mic won't work with a Shure receiver, because each brand has its own set of frequencies. I tried to do that years ago for similar reasons as yours. As far as the mic only picking up the sound at 2 inches, I think the mic belt pac might have a "sensitivity" setting on it wh...

Re: peavey 212 column speaker
Dookie, I right-clicked on his little image icons and selected "Load image in new tab" and the pics appeared in the new tab. Not our usual procedure.
Anyway, the head showed as a Peavey Supreme--looks like a guitar head to me. I am not sure what he intends to do with the 212s.

Re: Asking about price 110HC
Sorry, friend, but Dookie has it about right. You would do well to get even $40 for that speaker. It might serve okay for a small hall or a small gymnasium if you only wanted to use it to amplify voices. It is too small to broadcast music at any desirable level.

Re: Speaker enclosures
I'm guessing that, since the KB-300 was given to you, it's probably an older model. It likely would make you a satisfactory monitor--certainly better than nothing at all. The Crate PA-6 appears to have a "Monitor Out" jack on the front. You can connect a 1/4" guitar cable to that jack and plug the o...

Re: PV215D No Sound When Powered On
Sounds like you are saying that the bottom woofer of one 215D cabinet does not work but the top woofer and the horn do work. The other 215D is perfectly good, right? If that is so, either the bottom woofer is burned out or the crossover output going to that bottom woofer is burned out. If you can, d...

Re: my PV12 power amp
Whatever amp you have, it is apparently a stereo amp. So, yes, two 4ohm speakers into each side of a stereo amp will give you a 2ohm load into each side and a total of 2ohms load for the entire amp.

Re: PV6 not recognized by computer
You might find your answer if you do a search in the small white "Search..." slot inside the big blue bar at the top of this page. Type in some key words like "PV6 USB computer". You will find answers to other people who have had the same or similar problems.

Re: XR684 pops, sizzles in one channel
If the noise causes the EQ to light up, then it's coming from the mixer section of the unit. As for the cause, I don't know. Moisture inside, maybe?

Re: Connecting VCM 3 to a computer
That mic requires phantom power which normally comes through a professional XLR (3-wires) connection. I have never seen that type of connector on a computer, so I am doubtful that you can connect your VCM3 to it.

Re: Any way to mute speakers while still sending signal to USB 2.0
Simply disconnect the cables that are plugged into your mixer's main/auxiliary outputs. That will completely stop any sound from going to all your amps/equalizers/reverb units, etc. If you need SOME of your mains/auxiliary sound but at a reduced volume, you need only turn down the volume/sensitivity...

Re: How to Connect Old PA System with Peavey SP-4
I didn't find any photos attached, but regarding the SP4 speaker's four 1/4" inputs, you will want to use one "Full Range" input from a mono amp or from one side of a stereo amp. If you were a pro, you could use a crossover unit and run one side of a stereo amp INTO the "High" plug of the speaker an...

Re: Help using usb 2.0 out on FX2
This is speculation on my part but, I think the computer output is tied to the Main Outputs. Whatever signal you mix for the (L-R)mains will be the same mix coming out of the computer output. In short, I don't think you can connect your computer to the Aux outputs so you can get a separate mix. You ...
