Re: ProComm 2.4GHz Wireless--Lavalier

Those belt packs typically have a tiny switch inside to select whether it will be used with a guitar or microphone. The mic setting is hotter, so if it is switched to line or instrument a mic signal will be weak.

Re: peavey digital reverb remote switch for 212 stereo chorus

Very hard to find....we can't even get parts for those any longer. Not all that useful for most folks...who switches between different reverbs on the fly?

Re: Invective 120 noisy MSDI

The amp needs a speaker load, do you have one connected? Otherwise, the MSDI will not function correctly and be noisy.

Re: Is it possible to find out where my Cirrus was built?

I bought a used Cirrus 4 MFB Quilt Top bass and it's fantastic. I'm curious where it was built. It says Mfg Loc 2 on a sticker and also gives a serial# and Item#. 2017 it says. I have a difficult time to find any info at all. Is it possible? Thanks. "Mfg Loc" was plant 2 in Meridian MS. Your "2017"...

Re: Unidentified Peavey Electric Guitar

That serial is for a Firenza in Trans Walnut, shipped in 1999. The original pickups would have been P90s.

Re: Peavey VIP Vyper 2 need help getting started

I haven't seen complaints about bugs or crashes, so I can't help much there. I can tell you to ignore the firmware updates. The last VIP update was from 2013, so unless your amp is seven years old it does not need an update. Note, the only update for the VIP ever was to allow it to talk to the edito...

Re: Peavey penta help!

One of the selling points on the Penta was the high end custom wound transformers that were used. They are expensive because we didn't skimp. I don't recall a reported failure ever on those. Even the Basler trannys that were in the JSX/XXX/6505 are pretty much bullet proof. In 25 years I have only s...

Re: Black widow

There is no spec sheet for the original SP 4, but the SP 4Ti is so similar you could probably use that spec sheet and be in the ball park. The primary differences are a little more power handling and updated drivers. Crossover settings would be pretty much the same. You may need to tweak a little bu...
