Re: Peavey HP Signature USA-Revisited

I was checking out the band Hill Country Revue yesterday and ran across this video from back in the day with Cody Dickinson playing his HP Signature:

Re: Peavey HP Signature USA-Revisited

Guitar Player Magazine had a nice review of the HP Signature USA and EXP models back in 2005. That's how I first learned of this model and when a trans-black EXP model showed up on my CL a few years later, I became the happy owner of it. I've never seen the USA model in the wild but would love to tr...

Re: TKO 65 questions

I've got my TKO working just fine electrically. It has some surface rust on the metal supports that sit on top that attach to the chassis that's a bit unsightly. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff309/txflood/peaveyRust_zps50a9c2dc.jpg I was looking for suggestions on the best way to clean these up.

Re: TKO 65 questions

70777053 is the Peavey part number, it matches the listing for this amp model. 15830J is the description - 15" 8 ohm 30 ounce magnet 67-8316 says the speaker was made ny Eminence in the 16th week of 1983. I just picked up a non-working TKO 65 and one of the first things I did was to remove the spea...

Re: Connecting a PV Delta Blues 115 to a Line 6 POD HD 400

I've been experimenting lately with hooking my POD HD400 up through the effects return of my amp as well. You may already be aware of this, but the general recommendation is to put the patch on the POD into preamp mode so that it is no longer trying to emulate the output amp and its various paramete...

Re: History and Timeline of the Peavey Bandit

I am curious if folks that are familiar with all of these models have a favorite and why. I watched this video today where the guy owns the red stripe Bandit but prefers his buddy's cyclops model: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6suPzvUzxU The blues tones he is getting sound pretty darn good to me. ...

Re: Peavey HP Signature EXP date & origin and suitable case?

I would say that you have the HP Signature Blues model just like the title in the You Tube video you referenced. I have a black HP Signature EXP (not the Blues model) and I can see from your pictures some key differences that seem to be present in the Blues model - the mini-humbucker pickups, the tu...
