Re: Basics of VYPYR VIP-1

Try using the twin amp on green channel. Make sure all effects are off.

Re: How do I save settings on the VYPYR 3 100

You have to save each setup you have to your liking to a unique preset like darryl said. I use a behringer midi pedal to give me 10 presets per bank and below is what I have setup as an example showing the different amp channels being used in different presets. Hope this helps Preset 1 Acoustic sim ...

Re: VYPYR VIP and ZOOM G5

Going to ask a stupid question but why would you use the zoom g5 with a modeling amp. Why not just use it with a ss or tube amp. The reason for a modeling amp is to use the different amp models and effects built into the amp itself. Just curious as I have a floor effects pedal I use with my Valvekin...

Re: Express 112 vs Bandit Silver Stripe

I also play in a worship group and used a bandit at church for years. Was a little too much and bought a Vypyr 30. It gave me a lot more flexibility to tone my amp to what we were playing each week. What I mean as you know is hard to cover the sound of the different amps of the worship groups but th...

Re: vip3 problem

You should still be under warranty as it is two years with the option for three more when you register the amp with Peavey.

Re: Doesn't work

You should be able to get a replacement because it is under warranty. Contact where you bought it. Was the box damaged?

VIP Plastic Corners

I wonder if the new Vypyr Pro(if it is ever released) indeed comes out with metal corners that might work on the VIP series. Looks like the top front corners might be about the same angle. The plastic ones are a joke.

Re: VYPYR PRO UPDATE

Michael Thanks for this. I really love the Vypyr series from my 30(sold and regert now) to my VIP3. I got a great 80s sound on my VIP3 by using a Tube Screamer -> Budda channel 3 -> compressor but was unable to add a chorus. I agree with the four modules just might be able to get real close to that ...

Re: VYPYR PRO UPDATE

Michael I watched your first video from Namm 2015 and you said you could get almost any sound from the Vypyr Pro. I challenge you to see if you can get the Rockman sound that Tom Sholz created with his Rockman modules. I am very interested in the Vypyr Pro and what it can do and if you can get it I ...

Re: Vypyr VIP 3 - How to turn off effects on amp models?

If you are talking about the delay and reverb if you push the effects button in and release the lcd should show effect edit and dl rv on right just turn the mid, high and post gain knobs all the way to the left to turn off the delay and reverb. The knob lights will reflect them off all the way down ...

Re: Deciding between Peavey Vypr VIP 2 or VIP 3?

I have had my VIP3 for over a year now and love it. I use it at home as well when playing at church. I use an a/b box to switch between my electric and acoustic guitars when playing at church and works and sounds great. I also play classic rock and really like the Budda amp for that. It really is a ...

Re: VIP 3 preset lists

The VIP amps are awesome but the software is very basic and not very good. To me I would rather have a great sounding amp with alot of options then a really great software interface and a amp that is just okay(Fender Mustang). I tried both before I bought my VIP3. Hopefully Peavey will hear us and r...
