Re: Ok to run IPR-1600 without speakers connected?

lol nope, i dont inspect anything just didnt care for your tone of "Thanks for getting back it would've saved time if you'd said that in 1st post." just saying if you wish to learn, stay on issue dont bounce around, so to keep things clearer. sorry if i hurt your feeling, after reading that ...i fig...

Re: Ok to run IPR-1600 without speakers connected?

it dont look like it would have saved any time if he said that in the 1st post because you continue on to ask question on his answers anyway. just what do you want to know? you ask a really good question is it ok to run an ipr 1600 without a speaker. he answers ,"Under normal conditions it is safe t...

Re: Peavey FX 16 Channel

no problem , i am sure if you can dedicate 1 aux to your recorder you'll get it dialed in just fine. and anytime u need to adjust a level on it you should be able to with out effecting a bunch of other stuff.

Re: Peavey CL-2 Cluster

for either i would just go the easiest route and not bi amp and run this speaker fullrange . however i believe they really only have a response to around 250 hz? so IMO you will need a sub. as long as you are not expecting a high fidelity production of sound. i do think it should perform decently, j...

Re: Peavey FX 16 Channel

just curious could you use one of the many outs rather then the record output jacks so you could adjust in how much you want to that line out and it effect nothing else? I believe the record out jack just sends whatever you are running into the main L/R channel. now its been awhile since i used ours...

Re: Scorpion question

i dont think there is a min required wattage... if it fits the situation you are using them for , 1 watt would suffice. my old renown had 15" scorps in it, they worked fine playing in an apartment (real quiet) and on an open field party with 2-3k people. so if you are concerned imo there is no way t...

Re: Best Connections for Peavey SP 118 and Peavey SP 2 to Peavey IPR2 5000

probably the best for what seems to be your level of knowledge will be sub-woofer (100hz and down)from 1 channel to the 118s and the highpass (100hz and up) to the sp2s. the reason being you dont want both the sub and the tops trying to produce the same freq. i know you think more is better but you ...

Re: Peavey 112HC speakers

very true Doug, if you cut them at 60- 40 and didnt clearly mark them very easily done.... and a good thing to point out. but in the situation i did mine ..... my amps set fairly close to the right side , so i made one 15 foot and one 85 foot out of a 100 foot cord. if i grabbed the wrong one i foun...

Re: Peavey 112HC speakers

if you amps sit closer to 1 stack then the other , you dont have to cut it in exact half. you can cut it 1/4 and 3/4 or whatever work best for you .

Re: PvxP problems

Hi guys Just to let you know, I have two PVXp subs and have noticed the sound, although sounding very deep, has a dirty sounding mid tone. That is a manufacturing problem. The closer you get to the sub The worst it sounds so you just had to register and bring up a 4 year old thread to say this sub ...

Re: Impulse100 750WPeak

chances are low but....
did you use the same cable that was on the dead speaker and just switch the connection at the amp
or did you drag the speaker over to the other one and use the 100% guaranteed working cable out of the good speaker?

might have a shorted cable it happens .

or do you have non powered speakers

Re: Peavey MF 2 X Mark III Tops and 115 SC Bottoms

thats close to the same system we ran in the 80s , only difference was we used a Kustom front loaded box for the mid ranges. had a very good sound only thing if i remember correctly was i had to raise the horn crossover up to 1k or 1,2K hz..(cant remember) at 800 hz there was too much in the horns a...
