DDL-3 power supply

Hi all, I have an old Peavey DDL-3 pedal, but I do not have an A/C power adapter for it. I know the chances of the part department having one in stock are slim to non existent (But if you do have one, I'll take it). I would like to know the spects (Power voltage and amp requirements) and the size of...

Ultra 60 212 reverb issue

Hi all, Been a while since I stopped in here, nice to see Roger is still around. Okay, I have a Ultra 60 212 with the footswitch, recently I have had an issue of the reverb stop working. The light on the pedal switch's off and on, but the reverb is not coming on. I know this is a solid state reverb,...

Re: Peavey Extension Cabinet 2x12 + Classic 20 MH

Hi, Whenever you are looking at a amp head, the matching cab should be a first choice as they were engineered to work together. With that said, it it also engineered to cover the widest range it can, because they do not know what tone your wanting. Any cab with the right ohms load will work.....but ...

Re: An old friend...

I have been told the Zippo lighter fluid does a great job of washing out tar stains from painted surfaces.

Once done I would follow it up with Murphy's oil soap, then a good waxing.

Re: Need help to identify...

I am going to take a guess here and say you have one of these...... http://gi84.photobucket.com/groups/k7/HKCSXC8FMU/MyAmp.jpg Form the description I think this should be it. If so, you have a Classic 100, these were a hybrid amp, a solid state pre-amp and a 6L6 drive section. In there time they wer...

Re: Classic 50/410 Tubes

It's hard to say without hearing it, why not try putting the EL-84s back in and see what happens.

Re: JSX combo preamp tube suggestions please

I like the JJ tubes best. For what your saying and solid clean channel sound seems what you want to go with. In V1 try a ECC82, it will net you more headroom.
