Re: Bose 802 series II
I ran into this same problem with these Bose speakers. There is a box that Bose sells with soeakers that you connect to the speakers then you connect the amp to the box. It was a weird thing that I had never seen before but this could help you.

New SP2 and SP118 II
Does anyone know anything about these new speakers coming out? I love that they added hanging points to the SP2 and the sub.

VSX settings for old Impulse 500 and SP 118X for compressing and limiting
I am needing suggestions for settings for the limiter/crossover for these old speakers. I don't want the limiter just drastically turning the volume down, I want it to be smooth. Any help is appreciated.

Re: DJ upgrading my system
Rustyross, I am a DJ as well and I use the same mixer and players you do. I believe the Denon mixer has a subwoofer output on it (DON"T USE IT!!!). This would be the reason that you are not getting the correct base response that you are wanting. I would just come out of your mixer left and right out...

Re: Cs 3000 help
Chris D, My first recommendation would be to swap the A and B input signals and see what you get. There could be a short in a cable, a short in the input source going to the amp, or a speaker cable touching inside the neutrik connector. If you only get sound out of one channel then use the same inpu...

IPR1600 DSP
I am wanting to use this amp on an install with 6 of the Impulse 261's. However, after reading the manual on this amp I noticed that it says "2ohm power is time limited by circuit breaker." What does this mean? Also, I am wondering if there is a preset for these speakers built into this amp. I will ...

Re: How can 1 amp power????
I often wondered how people who barely know anything about the pro audio world try to comment and help people in this forum then it confuses the people that needed help to be begin with.

Re: PA Hook Up Questions
SemperFi, The reason why I was saying that you can destroy a speaker with distortion with underpowering is because, I have seen to many people that get an amp and lets say it's a 200 watt amp bridged into 4 ohms. Then they have one speaker that is rated 500 Watts RMS, 1000 Watts Program, and 2000 Wa...

Re: PV1500 with a Cerwin Vega CVP-118 in bridge mode?
If you are a DJ as I am then I would recommend that you stay below program stated wattage of your speaker. Here is why, if you are like me, you like bass, if you overdrive it or send it to low of a frequency for long periods of time the smoke will come out. I would recommend you get a VSX processor ...

Re: How can 1 amp power????
I'm not saying I know everything. Normally, when I need help I email a friend of mine (Ed Drugs) or call Marty. I really don't think anyone does know everything about audio because it is steadily changing.

Re: Does Peavey still sell the CS800X4?
I was wanting to use it for 12 of the new Impulse 602 speakers with 2 of the powered EU subs for a bar. Now I need to find an amp that I can use. I need the least amount of amps as possible. They currently have a bunch of Yamaha 15" speakers and want smaller speakers with big sound. I think it's all...

Also, who said anything about SP5G? That was an older model and the speakers in question were the standard SP5 which have different specs.
