Why, it's the "XR Wild"-stompbox setting, of course It's modeled after his MXR ZW44 Zakk Wylde OD (overdrive)-pedal.
NOTE: you guys out there with 15'watters probably don't have this effect.

Re: Let's Share Some Vypyr Settings
Does anyone have tips how to get more "low bottom end" from Vypyr 30?
I'm looking for Meshuggah, Machine Head etc. type sound that you can really feel in your belly. Amp gives you plenty of distortion, but somehow it still sounds thin in a way.
I have a "kidney shaped multieffect" that gives me the sound I'm looking for, but I'm hoping to get same from my Vypyr as well.

Should be everything you need to know, right there.

Re: Let's Share Some Vypyr Settings
Job For a Cowboy/The Red Chord Setting...
6505 model set at 6 o' clock Pre - Post gain. This is how Mike McKenzie runs his. Same for Al Glassman from JFAC.
Add The Tubescreamer at Noon to 1 o' clock on volume. No Gain.
As for Zakk Wylde presets.....
I would go with the Rectifier preset really and dial in a little chorus MAYBE a little phase. Thats generally how i've done all mine in the past with my old processors. Guitar World used to have the GNX4 presets in the tabs section instead of the boss stuff. Thats where i got the idea.

Re: Let's Share Some Vypyr Settings
Someone earlier had posted that using the pitch shifter and putting both paramaters on Zero beefed their presets up a little. Give that a try.Coe wrote:Does anyone have tips how to get more "low bottom end" from Vypyr 30?

Thanks for the tip, however it wasn't really what I was looking for... I traded the Vypyr to another amp and it helped.nothingleft09 wrote: Someone earlier had posted that using the pitch shifter and putting both paramaters on Zero beefed their presets up a little. Give that a try.
Re: Let's Share Some Vypyr Settings
Hello,
I am writing an application that will help to share presets. Please try it and say what you think.
http://www.arekuse.net/RESOURCES/Guitar.zip
I need to implement a couple of things and correct the lights (they don't have the colours they should, because I wanted to do it bit simpler, but the original Vypyr's interface would be better, just not to confuse people).

* The knobs seem to have straight up 12:00 as "1". So when you select 3 it actually lights up the 6th light. I'm positive that you know this already and have a reason, but it is different from the norm.
* Any way to have the 'in-between' knob settings? Like say, 3.25 or 5.5?
* any plans to do something with the tap tempo? That might be asking a bit much...
* When you hit edit on the stompbox, you might edit the delay and reverb, right? Okay, now edit the effects, and the delay and reverb are back to 12:00. Again, it might be a bit much to ask that the delay and reverb settings be carried over from one edit button to the other, but thought I'd throw it out there.
Sorry if I'm going overboard. I do software QA in real life, so I can't help it.
I see great potential in this. Keep up the good work!

ah..ok, it begins in the left bottom, right? or, what's the norm?* The knobs seem to have straight up 12:00 as "1". So when you select 3 it actually lights up the 6th light. I'm positive that you know this already and have a reason, but it is different from the norm.
Yea..this should indeed be implemented.* Any way to have the 'in-between' knob settings? Like say, 3.25 or 5.5?
Don't really know how it works. I've got my amplifier just last week.* any plans to do something with the tap tempo? That might be asking a bit much...
Yea...overseen. Should be corrected. Can be easily saved and carried over.* When you hit edit on the stompbox, you might edit the delay and reverb, right? Okay, now edit the effects, and the delay and reverb are back to 12:00. Again, it might be a bit much to ask that the delay and reverb settings be carried over from one edit button to the other, but thought I'd throw it out there.
Well, thanks for hints! I will work on it!

(bottom left should be 1, BTW)
Re: Let's Share Some Vypyr Settings
Still learning how to operate the app. However, from what I have seen so far its a good thing to have.
Thanks
Thanks

Whenever I get the file D/L'ed, and then try to open it, it Windows says: "Compressed (Zipped) Folders Error - The Compressed (Zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted".

Download the file again and try anew. Sometimes the file is corrupted while downloading.IMTHEPUNISHER wrote:Whenever I get the file D/L'ed, and then try to open it, it Windows says: "Compressed (Zipped) Folders Error - The Compressed (Zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted".
