Great deal from EDSDDS! He is a top-notch brother to deal with!
What a guitar! Not a scratch, ding or even a pick swirl on it!!! It honestly looks brand-new and never played! I haven't had a chance to really play it yet...I just made sure all the positions worked through my trusty vintage Valco amp. Seems very versatile.
I like how easy the trem arm pops in & out! Great neck with no fretwear at all...in fact, the frets are a bit tarnished from not being used.
I will put new strings on tomorrow, polish & oil the neck &then gig her with my Firenza Saturday night at a Christian Youth Event than my blues band is playing. Superb value in these guitars. The original tag for $1099.98 was included in the case!

Well I just ran "Bahama" through my Lil Dawg Pug, a clone of a Marshall 18 watter.
Wow! This is probably the most versatile guitar I've ever played in 31 years of playing guitar!
Usually whan a company tries to make a guitar do too many things it ends up not doing anything well.
Peavey hit a homer with the USA Limited HB! It of course does the double HB thing perfectly, but it also does the tele middle position VERY well as well as the Strat quacker.
It is very easy to play. Extremely well-built...I dig the smooth contour on the neck heel! Why doesn't everyone do that? Light & beautiful to look at ....
I cleaned her up, restrung & reset the action. Play s wonderfully....the tuners are a bit more labor-intensive than the regular Hipshot lockers I put on my Fender Strat though.
I did make a mistake though....Pvholic recommends putting 3 or 4 wraps on each post even though they are locking tuners...this made no sense to me so I didn't do it.....slight tuning issues resulted....I see how the 3-4 wraps will make it perfect.....
Charlie is Mr. PV and I usually do what he says.... and I will continue! LOL!
Seriously this is a great guitar...I will gig all Peavey tomorrow night & post a report.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Don't tell them everything, They'll all want 1, 2, 3, 4, or maybe 5 or 6 or more. Honestly, I play them more often that any of my other guitars. The HB model, IMHO is the best stock model, if it has the Zebra coil pups, but I have quite easily have pups to add to the ST & VT models as well. I played the Custom shop VT last weekend through my Classic 50 410, and an all new band. At first they thought only playing Peavey stuff was funny, that after we played, Here come the compliments of the tone and what Peavey Guitar is that? And the Music Director said, he had a custom botique amp made, but he loves The Peavey Classic 50. I said I love it too! I could see the Gear Heads rolling!

Actually The USA Limited has a chambered body so it is lighter and the wood is completely different than the mahogany with maple top LP. I owned and played for many years a 1979 Les Paul Std and I still have the original Gibson Pups as I replaced them with Duncan 59er in the neck pup and JB model in the bridge. It sounded awesome but in all honesty the HB model has many more tonal options with the twin Zebra humbuckers and a 5 way switch that is wired so you still get those # 2 & #4 positions but still hum free, as it is wired that way on purpose, so it's not a Strat either, but has more tonal options than either combined . I cannot say it will sound exactly like an LP, but it will do much more that what an LP can do, and what a Strat could do, even if you could combine the two together, and you can't
Peavey did not set out to make copies of either a Strat or LP. They have a guitar that can do so much more than both of them together. Ask those that have and play HB USA models, besides just me. I have all three models myself and I love these guitars.
